How it works

Attest is a Confluence Cloud Forge app. Value is visible within about 60 seconds of install: a counted list of ownerless, overdue, and orphan pages.

Architecture

The product runs on Atlassian (Forge). Page metadata is read through Confluence APIs; ownership and review events are stored in Forge KVS. This marketing site on Vercel does not receive your Confluence content.

v1 loop

  1. Admin installs Attest from Marketplace / developer install.
  2. Open the Attest full-page dashboard — automatic first scan.
  3. Filter ownerless / overdue / orphan lists.
  4. Assign an owner (Atlassian account id) and optional review cycle.
  5. Owners mark pages reviewed; daily job reminds on overdue items.
  6. Export CSV or HTML audit report for auditors.

Explicit non-goals

No custom workflows, bulk page editing, or cross-product integrations in v1 — those inflate support load for a zero-staff company.
